Location

The Copper River Lodge is located on the banks of the Copper River where it flows into Lake Iliamna.  Lake Iliamna is the largest lake in Alaska and is also home to some of the largest rainbows in the state.  Being directly on the Copper River, we can be fishing within minutes of departing our dock.  We are also a very short plane ride away from fishing other tributaries of Lake Iliamna and Katmai National Park and Preserve.

Guests fly into Iliamna from Anchorage.  Upon arrival in Iliamna, we will fly you in a De Havilland Beaver float plane to the mouth of the Copper 20 minutes away.
